I have extensive experience in applied research and support to companies in the field of Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Corporate Governance, ESG and Social Media, coordinating the activities of the Center for Governance and Transparency at IAE Business School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My main current goal is to help private and public sector organizations and their leaders make the most effective and positive use of the power of new social technologies to shape their sustainability/ESG- and open governance-related agendas in a strategic way, reaching out to key internal and external stakeholders.
In the recent past, I have been instrumental in setting up the First Argentine Best Practices and Compliance Network and I have implemented the first three editions of the U.S.-based Ethics & Compliance Initiative’s LPEC Certification Program in Latin America. I am a member of the United Nations-led Principles for Responsible Management Education initiative’s Working Group on Anti-Corruption where I helped developed the “Anti-Corruption Toolkit” online platform designed to provide comprehensive guidelines for curriculum change in business schools around the world. I am also a member of the Open Government Partnership (OGP)’s Private Sector Council and has participated as presenter in the OGP/World Bank Webinar Series.
I frequently speak at professional conferences in Argentina and abroad, and contribute to national and international media outlets, including a regular column on social media & ESG trends at CNN En Español. I am the co-author of the recent publication “A Practical Guide for Collective Action against Corruption” (2015) written for the United Nations Global Compact. I have a B.A. in Communication from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina and an M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, U.S.
